Tcha Limberger and Jean-Christophe Gairard

Since their encounter in 2008 in Transylvania, Tcha Limberger and Jean-Christophe Gairard have woven an intimate musical relationship based on their shared passion for the violin, particularly the style played by the Hungarians and Romanians of Transylvania. On stage, they will revive all those shared musical moments, providing an opportunity to listen together to everything these two musicians have to say to each other and to us.

They are accompanied by Benjamin Clément on the guitar and Vilmos Csikos on the double bass, two invaluable musicians who have accompanied Tcha Limberger for many years.

A Deep Musical Connection in Transylvania
In 2008, Jean-Christophe Gairard had the chance to cross paths with Tcha Limberger in Cluj, while the latter resided in Alunișu, near Huedin. This encounter opened the door to a captivating musical universe. Thanks to Tcha, Jean-Christophe had the honor of meeting Marcel Râmba in Beica de Jos, near Reghin, an iconic violinist from the Ardeal region. Thus began a rich and profound musical exploration, rooted in the traditions of this mythical land. It is through the generosity of his two master violinists that Jean-Christophe forged the uniqueness of his playing and his musical approach.
